How to get to Roald Amundsen's House
Public Transport
On weekdays it is possible to take bus number 86 from Kolbotn Station to Svartskog. From there, it is about a 15-minute walk down to the Museum. There are no buses during the week-end.
Car
Cars can drive down to Bålerud pier and park. From there, it is only a few minutes-walk to the House. (Address: Roald Amundsens vei 192).
Tour Buses
Large buses cannot drive down to Bålerud Brygge due to road conditions. They must either let their passengers off at Svartskog or arrange with the Museum for access through Ingierstrand Road.
