"The Parachute", as the prisoners called the room, was located on the 4th floor of the main building. It is said that the name "The Parachute" was derived from the fact that the room had bunk beds in four levels, and that a parachute was needed to safely descend from the top bunk.

For many, this large room was the last place they stayed at Grini. What did they think about as they awaited their fate?

Through five different audio stories, based on witness accounts and letters from prisoners sentenced to death. You'll get an insight into the thoughts the prisoners had just before they were to be executed. The powerful stories, which are read by actors, are a last farewell to their loved ones.

The audio stories are translated into english
